Meet Scott Koehler, MD

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Scott M. Koehler M.D. is a sports medicine specialist at the Northfield Hospital and Clinics.  He is a team physician at Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges and an official medical provider for the US Olympic Skiing and Snowboarding teams.  Dr. Koehler is a St. Olaf College graduate, he completed MRI research fellowships at the Mayo Clinic and at the University of Liverpool, England.  His Medical Degree is from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, his residency is from the Oregon Health Sciences University, and he completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Utah.
 
Dr. Koehler's clinical experience focuses on sports injuries, sports event coverage, nonsurgical orthopedics, injury rehabilitation, ultrasound-guided procedures and fluoroscopy guided procedures.  Dr. Koehler is an author for injury topics at UpToDate, Inc.
