Philosophy of Care

At a young age I knew I wanted to be in Healthcare. Putting a smile on someones face, fixing a problem, coming up with a solution and the consistent challenge of staying up to date on the latest research is what motivates me. Occupational Therapy was a good fit for me because I get to see a wide variety of conditions, be creative with problem solving and help people meet their individual goals. I love to help my patient’s understand the “Why” and improve their health literacy for chronic disease management in order to stay healthy, have a greater quality of life, live as independent as possible and prevent hospitalization. I find it very important to provide tools, resources, and education not only to my patients but also to their caregivers and families.

Personal Interests

I enjoy taking my 3 boys on spontaneous adventures, going up North, fishing on a lake, being on the farm, and escaping MN in the Winter time.
