New CFO named

Scott Edin, a healthcare finance professional with more than 30 years of experience, has been named Northfield Hospital & Clinics’ Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Edin comes to Northfield Hospital & Clinics from Amery Regional Medical Center where he has served as Vice President of Finance and General Services since 1985. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in building a new facility, partnering with organizations on multiple new business ventures, and supporting the finance, revenue cycle, IT, and other areas. In addition, he co-directed the physician Practice Management Committee and developed a strong working relationship with the Board of Directors.

Edin graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Hospital Administration. He earned his Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) from the University of Minnesota. He will begin work  June 23.

Edin follows Tim Gronseth who resigned from the position earlier this year.
