Lisa Bauer

Lisa Bauer is the Chief Nurse Executive/Vice President/Hospital Administrator at Northfield Hospitals + Clinics. She has responsibility of nursing and some ancillary services that are integral with patient care.  She has 26 years of nursing experience and brings a breadth of knowledge from her work in different departments in small community hospitals. She started at Northfield Hospital + Clinics in 2017 as the Birth Center Director, transitioned into the Director of Inpatient Services in 2022, and began her current role in 2024. She is particularly interested in sustaining healthcare services in small community hospitals and creating strategies to retain staff and keep them competent in this environment. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Business Administration from Bethel University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the College of St Scholastica. She's passionate about creating caring experiences and safe environments for patients, staff, and community.
