Northfield, MN

The first weekend after Labor Day, everyone pours into town for Defeat of Jesse James Days. This annual festival resembles a mini-state fair and receives high marks for its dramatic and authentic re-enactment of the attempted bank robbery in 1876 by Jesse James and company.
The St. Olaf Christmas Festival and Winter Walk bring the holiday season to life, and every three years the Vintage Band Festival delivers 100 inspiring concerts over four days in August.
