Jeff Meland, M.D.
Vice President and Chief Medical Officer

In his role as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Meland serves as an executive resource to the hospital medical staff’s Medical Executive Committee and its subcommittee’s.  He also oversees the Quality Improvement department.  Dr. Meland’s clinical duties include working in the Emergency Department and Orthopedic Spine Clinic.

Dr. Meland is a graduate of the University of North Dakota Medical School.  He did his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.  He is a past president of Northfield Hospital + Clinics Medical Staff and formerly the Medical Director for Emergency Medical Services at the hospital.
